I’m looking at color matching my bumpers but I’ve seen you can paint the sensors and then it says you shouldn’t. I personally don’t care as to I don’t use them I tend to do old school look back and my mirrors. But on occasions that the wife takes it that’s another story she relies on those sensors and camera and even if I tell her to watch out chances are she’ll forget.

If I were to paint them I’m sure they wouldn’t work as well but will I hear a constant beep thinking I’m too close to something?

Is there any Ford vehicle that would plug in play that are already white?

Any time a safety system is disabled/not working I would guess the system is required to cause notifications probably annoyingly. Since there are vehicles with them in painted bumpers the question is does it require special paint or just the standard vehicle paint. Should of bought a black Maverick then paint around the existing black sensors.

Put some electrical or plastic tape on them and try it out?
The aftermarket set that I bought states in the installation instructions that they can be painted - don‘t know if OEM’s are the same.

just curious. Did you have to remove the bumper to install your sensors?

What sensors did you use?
I’ve found part number 15k859 for the sensors. It looks like I can color match them so next I need to go under and see if all them are the same or if I need to get specific ones
