Weeeeellll…had only (4)T’s designed and printed within months of acquiring the Mav, perhaps the definition of “limited run”.

The (4) recipients? My good friend and graphic artist who interpreted the mind’s eye to create the file, my Blue Oval salesman, the legendary and oh-so-helpful in the early daze (sic) Tim Bartz of Long McArthur Ford and me.

Figured this thread was a good time to insert the pic as my answer to the original question!
I love the shirt and wear it often.

OEM location.
But I have no problem with the offset looking position. I'd much rather have a SMALLER vehicle rear end/bumper and have it offset as it is (while retaining the hitch of course).

The temporary spot over the hitch looks OK, assuming the stock plate location didn't already exist with holes and 'nubs' for the plate. The lighting would be odd at night, but probably matter little for looks during the day.

But I'm not too fussed about the offset look myself, so wouldn't bother, even if my Lobo won't see a trailer for 99% of its life.. I still need access to the hitch hooks to attach straps for loading/unloading my moto. :p

Latest theory is that Hybrid Owners are using “L” button to slow their trucks which does not activate brake lights. Interesting theory….
This is just now being a thing. Way after all the rear end accidents reported in the first 2 years. Ford did have a recall to fix defective lights. I found by using low, most people leave more distance. Maybe assuming the brake lights don't work. We have been slowing down with manual transmission vehicles by downshifing for many decades, and that was never an issue.

If you drive at night you would have to move light.
Easier to move the plate than the light. 2 screws for both OEM & Hitch Mount. I keep a screwdriver in the truck along with a garlic braid & silver bullets in my “truck gun” in case I’m stuck out after dark!

It's already mounted. I can't see it from the driver's seat. It's a truck and a license plate not a show car. As long as it is mounted I'm legal.
In my state the licence plate must be illuminated. And trust me, you will get pulled over for it.

Personally I like the offset. It's unique to the truck. however, the plate reader at my local carwash can't read it, and they always have to open the gate manually. They don't like that.
Well they are just gonna have to change with the times🤣

Come to think of it, I think you can get a license plate holder for trailers with a built in light. That might solve the light mounting problem.
