Front License Plate Holder Install Location Question

Fellow Mavers,
Just received the Mabett front license plate holder that hooks onto the front grill. Anyone know if there's a preferred location to ensure that the plate does not interfere with radar, sonar, FLIR, nuclear sensors, etc.? The installation guide seems to suggest dead center but more interested to hear your experiences. Many thanks.

I just installed mine two days ago. It will not fit in the center. There is some of the plastic missing in order to secure it properly. It would interfere with that sensor anyways. Have mounted mine offset towards the passenger.
Will most likely return it as it sticks out too far and afraid it might rip my lower grill in case someone backs into it. Will most likely get the OEM one if I find a good deal on it.
The instructions are kind of crappy as well. Had to dismantle mine again as it was not clear if the square box where the nut goes in needs to face front or back.

Mabett has one, it’s awesome and built like a tank! Unfortunately, I was unable to find a mounting position on my ‘25 Lariat Hybrid where it didn’t drive my parking/anti-collision sensors crazy, and ended up returning it.
