link to buy? I like that a lot!I switched out mine for a stubby. Works just fine
I could see it being in the way of a person want’s a roof rack and whatever is on said rack. What’s the point of replacing it? It’s not that long to begin with.

I had completely forgotten about JC Whitney until I read your post! Yes, that was the accessories bible in my day. There is a huge percentage of people in this country that I will never, ever understand. You kids would have loved the JC Whitney catalog.
I thought the same until I realized I wanted to have the truck washed in one of those automatic washes and I tried bending it as might one of those washing rollers. It didn't look like it might survive, so I swapped it out with the stubby. No reception issues and I feel better about running it through the car wash. What’s the point of replacing it? It’s not that long to begin with.
Size mattersThe 2" was not good with reception on my Lariat with HD radio. Returned it.
I thought about keeping the longer antenna and dragging out a dummy RC box the next time someone asks me about the truck. The look on their faces would be priceless. What’s the point of replacing it? It’s not that long to begin with.
Absolutely, just ask my wife.Size matters
Great! There are more criminal owners of compatible vehicles that can twist off my stubby antenna. NO TOOL NEEDED.Maverick shares some of the same parts as its big brothers, like, F-150 third brake light, etc. I figured the antenna was also shared. The aluminum stubby antenna I ordered was for a 2019-2022 Ranger. It came with a M6x1.00 threaded adapter. It also came with a smaller M5x0.80 threaded stud adapter, which is what threads into the Maverick. Both antennas had the same concave shape on the bottom mating surface.
My wife says that longer is better
Mine on my Buick gets in the way of loading canoes and stuffThat’s what she said.
