My MY2023 shipped 1/8/2023 and showed up at my Washington State dealer yesterday 1/27. My sister was in the area and took pictures for me today. Dealer scheduled an appt for Tues for pick up.

So my maverick is sitting at a Union Pacific rail junction in Nogales Arizona. It has currently been sitting there for 3 days. I live in KY. Has anyone else’s truck sit there for multiple days without movement. I had the railcar number when it was in Mexico but I don’t have that anymore since it has crossed the border

My problem is that my vehicle is still sitting in a lot at the factory waiting to get loaded onto a railcar. Vehicle built 1/14/23. How long does it take to get assigned a railcar?

My Maverick just got built. Ford gave it 2 and a half weeks to get to northern Illinois which I think that, after listening to all these stories is wildly optimistic.

It depends on how many vehicles are going on similar route to fill a railcar. One of the reasons car plants have big parking lots is to store them until loaded on a railcar. Assuming it has been cleared for transit it could go anytime. Has your dealer looked on his system to see if it is really ready to go? Their system usually includes an estimated load date.

As a sidenote, has anyone seen the video from a few years ago when a car transport train went into emergency braking and the cars slammed forward going through the railcar front bulkhead? Not unlike 54 years ago when my first new car was rear ended the first week I owned it. Or how my new Wrangler was damaged a few years ago by the truck transport driver picking it up at the railhead. But don't worry, I'm sure yours will arrive just fine and not be in an accident for years.

Mine said it was built 12/8/22, but didn't ship until 1/11/23! I was told by CS that it had to go back into production for some undisclosed reason, so hopefully yours doesn't "sit" that long.

I'm sorry, I don't want to harass you, but can you track mine as well? For some reason, when I called CSX it said "TTGX979090 Empty....Has had Waybill data reported at Nashville, TN on Jan. 29th, 14:02 (2:02pm) and no ETA available."

I'm just not sure if this means my truck has been picked up since it said empty. If you could check that up for me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Your car was probably switched to a CSX to go east check with your dealer see if the rail car number changed but also check the CSX tracker instead of the union Pacific.

Train car could well in fact be going to Springville. Your truck likely got off in Nashville and will be trucked to your dealer.

Ahhh gotcha. When I called the automated voice again, it did say "TTGX979090 EMPTY was constructively placed at Springhill, TN" so, I'm assuming, since it continues to say EMPTY, then it means it was left in Nashville while the train car moved, as you said. I guess that means, I no longer know if it was picked up or not.
