radio issues?

Did you try a soft reset?

When the vehicle ignition is on Press and Hold the Radio Power Button/Volume Dial and the Seek button (>>) at the same time for about 5-10 seconds until the Ford symbol flashes on the screen and it resets.

I've lost audio a couple of times and the soft reset worked to regain sound.

Yea it freezes sometimes. Soft reset hopefully fixes it for you.

If it does turn on, you might try downloading any updates to a USB and letting SYNC update.

I don't think that will work on an XLT. I know my XL has to update from a WIFI internet connection. The USB update only works on Lariats. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I had the same issue with my 22 XLT, FX4, about once a week or so, at my first oil change 3000 miles at dealer they did a reprograming and its been much better only happened once since than at 7500 miles now getting another oil change at 8000. So there is a fix

Not failure to turn on, but mine has reset (off/on) twice in 4 months.

I have a 22 XLT and it happens every couple of months even after the dealer has performed radio refresh on 2 different occasions

This just happened to me on my return trip from WallyWorld. This happened once before, I just let it reset itself at the next ignition cycle.

I have a 22 lariat. I do have the truck connected to my home within fi. Will it update over the air does it have to be forced?

Yep works then doesn’t work.Bluetooth works most of the time but usb seems to work the best but it has issues to
