Alright while this is yet again another radio unit issue I want to preface it by saying the following. My truck has always had issues between Bluetooth and CarPlay, however removing my Bluetooth connection and just plugging in every time fixed 95% of the issues and I was happy with the outcome. However two weeks ago I took my truck in for the tail light recall. I brought it home and parked it for two weeks as I had knee surgery and couldn’t drive. Today I start up the truck and plug in my phone. Radio screen says it doesn’t recognize this USB device. Same brand new cable, same brand new iPhone 15. I deleted all my phone histories of devices being connected. Turn off the vehicle, turn it back on. Same result. Unplug everything, plug in, same result. I love my Maverick and I want it to work for me but these radio issues have to get resolved. I’m calling my dealership today. A friend of mine had a similar issue with his Maverick. They had it for weeks without a fix.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

I’ve looked at that for some time now and honestly it may just be time to take the leap.

Dealer did some massive reprogram which fixed my radio freezing up nut now I have some noticeble high frequency distortion. It sounds like damaged tweeters because if I play on the rear speakers it sounds ok.
