I have an iphone X and ios system 16.7.2. I just left Ford and they said I have to update to ios 17. That's why I get Media Not Available on the radio screen. This just a happened about 3 days ago. Are you still able to connect?
Mine connects just fine, BUT, I am not doing the USB thing. Just using standard CarPlay.

I updated my phone to iOS 17.1 this week, and the radio seems to be having more issues than before. It's always had instances where it wouldn't connect properly, or once in a great while it would freeze up; but now it seems to struggle even more with connecting to my iPhone.

Is anyone else having more issues since they updated to iOS 17.1? Are there any updates I can/need to apply to my radio?
I don't know avout the phone but my radio was working very badly in many ways, freezing up, not remembering what station it was on etc. Took it to Sykora Ford in West, TX and they removed the operating system and reinstalled a new one. They also installed other updates to the main computer now the radio works perfectly and has no problem linking to my iphone 14. Driving back home from the dealer about 15 miles on I 35 I got 46mpg according to the dash computer. 2023 lariat, ecoboost, 4k tow, AWD.

Does that seem reasonable? 46 mpg for an EcoBoost? That's about what I get on my hybrid. I'd be curious to hear what you calculate it to be when you actually fill up the tank (if you actually calculate it manually).

Actually, my radio has been working better lately. I got an iPhone 15 at Thanksgiving and that seems to have fixed it. My previous phone was an iPhone 12. Technology. (heavy sigh)
