I have read many articles and forums saying how important it is to treat the undercarriage against future corrosion.
I have been a mechanic over 50 years of my life but this morning after installing the mud flaps on my maverick I had one more confirmation that there are more and more things that I can no longer do.
Having someone paid to do that treatment is very expensive and I am not in control of the work quality and I understand needs to be done every year of just about.
I would like those who have a Maverick for several years and never did any kind of carriage treatment to look under and to let us know bad, if any , the rust issue is. In addition Ford has an no-corrosion warranty
Thank you
