If you want to see rust - check out the unpainted steel driveshaft or your steel steering knuckle. Your muffler also has surface rust beginning. This rust is completely normal. Although I would not want to see rust on the unibody anywhere!

Update on this! I took the truck to the dealer. They were cool about it, acknowledged it was weird. We went out into the lot and got on our hands and knees to look at other trucks. All the other '25's had the same thing going on, to varying degrees, in the same spot on each rocker. Manager and I both figured it's something that probably happens in production. They filed a ticket and will let me know if Ford says it's covered. I suspect not and am okay with that knowing this is a common thing. But it does seem strange. It's almost like there's no paint on a few inches of the panel. Definitely seems like something to keep an eye on, and I almost wonder if it's worth hitting with touch-up paint.

Photo to show where this is. It's the same spot on both sides of the truck (beneath that groove in the trim), and on both sides of the pinch weld.

Thanks for everyone's replies.

Yep, my 25 Lobo has the mark too. Touch-Up paint to the rescue!

Curiosity got the best of me and I went and looked at my 2025 and it does not have exposed bare metal in that spot.

If I were you I’d go check out a few 2025s from another dealer.

I suspect your dealer is damaging the mavericks by lifting them incorrectly during PDI and now trying to pass the buck to Ford.

Go to another dealership and come back hot demanding they correct their error.

Below is mine. Plenty of salt spray but still Eruption Green through and through.

Would a dealer lift the truck for PDI?

Again, I would go to another dealer and look at other Mavericks. Just because all of the Mavericks your dealer has doesn't mean it came that way.
