Cosmetic bumps I don't bother repairing. Stuff happens.
Much cheaper insurance by not filing the claims.
They do hurt more on a new vehicle. But the next bump hurts less.

Hasn't happened to me but a word of advice; don't put anything on top of the rear bumper and then open the tailgate... others have said it will dent the tailgate.

Found out the hard way that my Maverick and another vehicle can't occupy the same space at the same time. Pretty minor damage. It's all repaired now and got a little bonus. since the front bumper/grill had to come off, I had the body shop install my Raptor grille.

Front bumper cover total cost and painted $1200 and change. Looked the same as yours. Wish I was smart and had the grill replaced as you did.

I'm not at all. It's $2k just to do a bumper cover and that doesn't include blending paint on the front quarters. Add any type of sheet metal, support, or frame damage and it is easily $7k.

anyone whose shocked at that number didn’t read what I wrote…. This isn’t a bumper cover and quickie spray and I’m on my way.

Drivers fender to hood gap was effected. That’s the 7k can of worms.

Not that I’m happy with getting into an accident but the raptor style grill is tits so it all worked out
