Bikes in the back?

I'm wondering if/how I could carry two ebikes in the bed (tailgate down is okay) without having to remove the front wheels on the bikes? Problem is, my Mav is yet to be delivered (it is apparently stuck in Portland, OR and has been for several weeks) so I can't even experiment. Does anyone have any pics of how they carry a couple of bikes in the back?

Any bike will fit with the tailgate down, but I would recommend a pad.

EBikes are so heavy the front wheels are barely touching.

I fit 3 in the back of mine with the tailgate at the half position, just used a bungee to secure
