What is Ford Motor Co. and dealerships doing with pricing relating to the Lariat standard feature of Pro Trailer Assist not being available on Job 1 builds? Is there a $300 refund for Job 1 builds or do you just pay the same price as Job 2 but lose that feature.

Dealership should honor price on your DORA from time you placed order. Window sticker will reflect $300 increase.

Talk to your sales person and let them know that is the case.

I’m not seeing anything in the paperwork showing that I’m getting a rebate or discounted price after paying for a standard feature that I didn’t get on the Build 1 Lariat.
Isn’t the base price on the 2025 Maverick Hybrid the same for Build 1 as it is for Build 2?
My understanding at the time of ordering was I would be getting a credit for the cost of the ā€œStandard Featureā€ Pro Trailer Assist ($300) that was unavailable at the time I ordered.

Again, the DORA, or your order sheet with pricing at the time you placed your order, is the price you should pay and dealer will honor.

Your window sticker will reflect the full $300 increase.

For Job 2, Ford increased the MSRP by $300; for the Pro Trailer stuff.
There have been other price increases as well, since the order banks opened came, a $100 here and $150 there.
The price on the window sticker reflects the current pricing at the time the sticker was printed. Why? Because if the ordered person doesn’t take it, the truck is sold at current price.
This is where the DORA (the price sheet you got when you ordered) helps. You don’t pay any ~$100 that occurred since you placed your order. That is price protection, which is in play if the original orderer buys it.
My understanding is that no Job 1 saw the $300 for the Pro Trailer, so you will not see that cost on your window sticker. So when you compare your window sticker to your DORA, the only delta will be any of the ~$100 bumps. The
No matter what, you only owe what the DORA has on it. Some dealers don’t understand, or trust Ford, to give them the difference. So it depends on your dealer how they handle it. They are supposed to only charge you the DORA price, and they wait the 60-90 days to get the delta from Ford. Some dealers, which are bad in my book, charge you the current price and then send you the difference when Ford pays them; of course with this route you lose the tax savings on that delta. Then there are the really bad dealers, that charge current price and pocket the delta.

My Job 1 Lariat the Window Sticker is $ 300.00 higher than MSRP when I placed Order (See attached snip of My Sticker). I do not see the Pro Trailer listed anywhere on standard or Options (If you see it tell me where). I'm using the X-Plan, My Buyers Contract should have me locked in at the Cost when I placed order First week of November.

I'm picking up my 25 Lariat on Monday It has been ready for a few days actually. It came in a few days earlier than Ford had said it would But I Had to sell some investments and transfer funds to write a check. SO I shall see. Plus I have thrown a few wrenches into the deal since placing order 1) Ford Edge Owner $ 1,000.00 loyalty rebate (or discount ?) Plus I'll see if any of the other $ 750.00 discounts Ford has been posting apply.

After a couple conversations with the dealership where I ordered my 2025 Maverick Hybrid Lariat it was unclear the easiest way to handle the unavailable Pro Trailer Assist option. They very graciously offered me the Cerakote Protection Coating at a $300 discount. I accepted the offer.

I picked up my 2025 Maverick Lariat with 4k towing and a moonroof for my wife. I messed up and got a folding bed cover, which delayed it for about a week. I had to explain to the sales manager about the $300 pro backup and how it was not on my truck, therefore I was not going to pay for it. He finally caved and discounted it for the $300.

There were other price increases, since the order banks opened, which are unrelated to Pro Trailer. Mine was built week 1, back in November, and it was ~$100 higher because of the first price increase.
