Has anyone received their offer or know when/how to get it?
I heard people calling the customer service number to get it. Heard others say they get it once the MY23 order is in.

Very confusing

I called and they stated my MY22 lariat is still uncheduled-clean and I will not get the offer until they balance it out.
I already ordered the MY23 lariat and the dealer stated it should be automatic if anything.
Nobody seems to know (not a surprise at this point)

Starting to get paranoid I'll loose out on the $2750.

I'm sure many others are confused with this process.
Confused myself. Recently got scheduled for early November. They change over to MY '23 in mid November so it's a guessing game if they get to me. Dealer gives me a 70% chance of it happening. Brings up a lot of questions if the 30% comes true.

I can't even imagine the chaos of having a MY22 VIN and for what-ever reason it not getting built until after the MY23s start rolling off the line. Lots of folks here say "that can't happen" but would not put it past Ford to do that. Talk about a nightmare if you need to get something fixed at a mechanic: "oh, you told us that this was a MY22 so we ordered part ABC. Unfortunately, when we tore it apart, the part it needed was XYZ which is specific to the MY23 which is on back-order for 3 more months. What do you want us to do with your truck that is currently in pieces?". :-/ Luckily, there should not be a lot of changes between the MY22 and MY23 but there will be some (such as the standard cruise control on the XL that will have a different steering wheel, etc.).

The issue and confusion is specifically related to your last sentence: "If you have a '22 order converted to a '23, that data is all in the system, inextricably tied to your name , ready to unleash private offer at time of sale".

How does someone know that they have a Private Offer "ready to unleash at time of sale"? I have had an order in the Ford System since Oct 1, 2021. I have at least a 99% certainty that COPV/ROVP was done successfully since every time I contact Ford Chat they tell me it is "Unscheduled: Clean" with no issues (and at least one other person on MTC has a Maverick from them that is currently in delivery). I also have been getting all the e-mails where it shows my name to be correct (so thus at least my e-mail and name are correct in the Ford System). However, when I contact Ford Marketing, they do not show a Private Offer for me for some reason. All Ford Marketing can tell me is "contact your dealer and have them contact their Inventory Specialist". How long will that take? Will the Order Banks be closed by then?

Based on a couple of posts here on MTC, I am not the only one in this situation. My guess is that a lot of folks here did not even ask about the Private Offer when they re-ordered since they just assumed it would be there. I expect that some will have a rude awakening in another 6-9 months.

From what I have been told, Private Offer is not just tied to your name. It is tied to your name, address, and phone number (and potenitally your e-mail address). If any one of these is off by a single character, then no Private Offer will be in the system "at time of sale". The only way to know that you have a Private Offer is to call Ford Marketing or have your dealer check it in their system. If it shows up (and for many it seems to show up without an issue), then you are golden and have nothing to worry about. However, if it doesn't show up, then you are potentially screwed and either you or your dealer will need to jump through a bunch of hoops with the hope that someone at Ford is having a good day and willing to create a Private Offer for you.
Do you know what the lowest priority number your 22 truck had? I think if it was ever below a 10 the order had been rovp approved and you should be good for the private offer on 23.

Lowest I ever had was Priority 10. Likely due to allocation at my dealer, I was never moved to Priority 2. When I talked to my dealer in July, I think their were 12 Maverick orders at their dealership. 1 ECO delivered in January, 1 ECO delivered in March, and 3 more that had VINs (I think he said 1 hybrid and 2 ECOs). There is at least one June 2021 order for a member here that still has not been built (I think it had a September build date). I think I was #7 on this dealer's list so less than 50% of this dealer's orders got built.

I agree that if it had gone to Priority 2 then I definitely had an approved ROVP, but not having a Priority 2 does not mean that I did not have an approved ROVP. Unfortunately, I can find no-one at Ford that can verify anything (other than that I am "Unscheduled: Clean") and my MY22 dealer is not returning e-mails.

The only thing I know is that when Ford Marketing and my "new" dealer click on the "Certificate Inquiry" button (I assume on SmartVincent?), nothing comes up when they enter my name and address. Why? No clue. That is what I am trying to figure out. The scary thing is that my "new" dealer (one of the largest in my area and probably sold 100+ Mavericks last year), did not even know there was a "Certificate Inquiry" button until Saturday evening. I know he was placing orders all day Friday and Saturday (including a bunch of MY22 roll-overs) and had not looked even once to check on Private Offer status on any of the roll-over orders.

See I had a priority code of 10 in late August but when I called ford Marketing they couldn’t find my private offer. My salesman did but the $2750 as part of my purchasing agreement as part of my 23 order but I am concerned.

Once your ROVP is approved I'd contact the dealer, have them look for incentive #38560 in the Smart VINCENT.

If you have a VIN #, your Maverick will get built as a MY22. If you don't have a VIN # at this point it will be a MY23.

I'm hoping. I have my doubts but I'm hoping. I can see Ford extending the '22 assembly time another month or so to make it happen. But, whatever, I'm a spectator. A vested spectator.

VIN # is year specific - if it's assigned, it has to be built as a MY22.

just tried calling Ford CS again over this.
still no certificate number under this order number for the MY23. (I received a new order number from the dealer for MY23)
they did state that for some reason my old order number has been shown to be rolled over into MY23.

this just adds to the confusion. I thought the roll-overs were not automatic and a new order had to be placed. So am I to assume I have two MY23 orders flying around in the void right now?

anyone else ran into this issue?

I have been trying to get my Private Offer Cert # since Wednesday with zero luck. Every time I call Ford Marketing, I get a contradictory answer on how/when they get generated. The first person I talked to said that the dealer had to do something (balance it out the MY22?) before it would be generated but several dealers here on MTC (check out Geoff's post) said that is absolutely not the case. I know that there are quite a few folks here that already have their Cert # and had the $1750/$2750 applied to their double-signed Buyer's Order when they placed their order the last two days.

When I called Ford Marketing yesterday I was told that the Private Offer was automatic and linked to your name, mailing address, and phone number on file when the MY22 order was placed (and they needed all three of these things to look up the Private Offer). If there was not one currently in the system, it meant that the dealer screwed something up (i.e., mis-typed the zip code or phone number, etc.) when they orignally placed your order. The dealer needed to figure out what they did wrong and then contact their Ford Corporate "Inventory Specialist" to have it fixed so that a Special Offer could be created.

I have been trying to contact my dealer but they are not responding. I had thought that this was not going to be a big deal since I had at least until Sept 30th to get this figured out and place my roll-over order. However, based on the speculation that order banks may close as soon as this Monday, it looks like we don't have time to pro-actively fix this.

Like you, may fear is that I place an order now, wait another 8+ months, and then find that Ford has "lost" my Private Offer and just blames the dealer. I have a bad feeling that this is likely to happen to a LOT of folks here.
Did you ever get a PO

Nope. Unfortunately have no clue at to what to do next since no-one at either Ford or the dealership(s) really care to be of any assistance. My original dealer basically said their COVP system was down so was "not sure" why I never got a PO. They pretty much quit responding to me all-together when I did not re-order with them. My new dealer basically says "nothing we can do since we don't see it in the system". I keep asking them to at least reach out their inventory specialist but that has not happened yet.

At this point I have basically given up at least until I get a VIN. Since I ordered an XL Hybrid, I figure that my chances of ever actually getting the vehicle is prett slim (especially after the Ford memo that came out this morning). I have already started searching for another (non Ford) vehicle. With prices coming down, will probably purchase something (probably a Toyota or VW) in the early Spring timeframe. There is about a half-dozen threads here with folks in the same situation. My guess is that about 15%-20% of the roll-overs that were supposed to get a PO never had it show up. Absolutely poor customer service on the part of Ford and its dealers.

I agree 100%. I was lucky I guess. My Hybrid xl built and shipped last week. At 15 months that is not really that lucky. Plus it's the wrong color.

My dealer said it will be in the SmartVincent system once the MY23 order has a VIN.
I have a VIN# and the private offer is in the Smart Vincent system with a certificate #. However, the private offer states it has expired on Jan 3rd, 2023. What gives?
