My XLT is finally on its way. I should be eligible for price protection, correct?

Ordered August 23, 2021. One order change on September 30, 2021.

My dealer said the option to price protect is not available in their system and they think it's because I change the order. They are somehow getting the rates protected from August of 2021 - so that is good.

Is there someone at ford I can escalate this to if I am eligible to try to get it fixed. It's a roughly $2000.00 difference so that matters to me.

The way I understand it, the dealer needs to use the Smart Vincent to list the price at the time of order and current offers. I think you have the option of choosing the best option for price, financing rates, or incentive offers.

What @ShadowBlack XL440 said.

And it all depends on the willingness of dealer to honor that offer.

The price increase did not happen until 12/27/21 so your order should be protected to the price on your change order from September 30th. Not hard to do and Ford will reimburse them in 45 days on their Dealer Payment Statement.

So, if they are ignorant on the issue (or hopefully not pretending to be so) is there anyone at ford to escalate? Its so confusing because they get the money anyways, right?

Interesting, I just talked to a rep at Ford that told me very directly that no Mavericks were price protected at all. She said that rollover 2023s had a private offer, but that was it. I wish ford put something out for customers that clarified this. . .
When your 22 became a 23 order, all price peotection went out the window for the 22. It's a new order and should have a private offer which might even be better than before. I believe your Ford rep is exactly right.

I have a 22 coming in a week and a half that's a retail order. She was just giving me a example of the one thing available for any maverick. I think she is wrong, but that what the ford rep told Me.

Sorry about that. A 22 should definitely have price protection if it was rovp,or covp approved, which I think it had to be. If your dealer tells you different, they are probably trying to double dip. Trying to collect from you and from Ford. I'm in the same boat with a delivery coming in a few weeks. Hopefully, won't be an issue.

My dealer said the same thing until I showed them the memo from Ford to dealerships about the price protection and a screenshot with instructions on how to pull up the price protection. Both of these can be found in other posts here on mtc.
