My dealer said the same thing until I showed them the memo from Ford to dealerships about the price protection and a screenshot with instructions on how to pull up the price protection. Both of these can be found in other posts here on mtc.
While I do appreciate all of the replies and "fixes", I waited this long and paid a lot of money, I shouldn't have to slam it to get it to latch. They are gonna have to fix it.
After a year and 3 months of waiting she has finally come home. On a side note, I didn't notice until I got home that the back seat does not lock into place. Am I missing something here?
1) yes you should be able to change it
2) the bed liner was a heavy constant with the "22s and i would be willing to bet that it will be again. so that will slow down ford making it.
3) aftermarket is usually just as good if not better. just do your research for your area and find someone...
The '22 Frontier SV is actually what I got when I became tired of waiting for my Maverick and will be what I continue to drive if the dealership tries any funny business when I go to pick up my Maverick. It's actually a nice truck. Yeah the steering is "heavy" but as long as you're not a 4yo...
Congrats. Mine switched over to in production last Friday, Got the window sticker on Monday. Its been a long wait since I ordered on 7-19 but it finally seems to be happening for us. Now we just hope the dealers don't try to screw us over when we go to pick them up.
Today is my yeariversary. Currently scheduled for week of 8-22 after being moved 4 times. I guess I should consider myself lucky that it's at least on the schedule.
Started out dated for week of July 4th. Then moved to week of July 25th. Now sitting at week of Aug 15th. If it doesn't change again(and we all know it will), that puts it at 13 months from order to built.
Submitted the info I have so far. Carbo gray, Xlt, lux, 360, swing box. Ordered 7-19 scheduled for week of 7-4. Didn't include vin though. For some reason I just don't feel comfortable doing that.
July 10th order. Xlt, hybrid, lux, 360. Chatted with Ford on Friday and got a vin and week of July 4th production window. Good luck to everyone else and keep checking with Ford to see if the random dart throw landed on your name.
Yeah no one can really answer that. I'm pretty sure everyone is just in a hat and they draw names each week. I was waiting since last July and just got picked this week to get scheduled for this July
Well I finally got scheduled. Ordered carbo grey xlt, lux, 360 and tool box on July 19th. Scheduled for week of July 4th. So over a year before I actually get hands on it but it's happening so there's hope for everyone
I bought one of the newly redesigned '22 Nissan Frontiers. Love the truck. Decent mpg. Still waiting for my July Maverick to get scheduled and to be able to test drive it before deciding to keep the Frontier or trade it for the Mav.
I'm sure this has already been stated in this thread but I'll still say it. .... THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE. Who cares how many a dealership has sold in the past. Why is order A any more important than order B just because it came from a bigger dealership? A truck sale is still a truck...
