After the new year, I removed a constraint item from my order and added a trailer hitch. Did that void my price protection?

That actually likely would have. If you received a new DORA with updated price level of PL225 or higher then you're paying the post-increase prices.

I did pay a higher price, but honestly I didn't care that much. It was fairly small and the hitch I added was worth it. I was just damn happy to get the truck. No markup and almost no hard sale on anything else. I was happy with the experience.

I did get the 1.9% in effect back in August and on top of that the Maverick is absolutely amazing.
