Pre Owned Mavericks

Hello All. So here's an interesting situation. Bought my 2022 1st edition EB Lariat about 12 weeks ago from a Chevy dealer. After downloading Ford Pass and joining this forum I wondered in I was due some reward points so I contacted Ford and was told that my truck was not pre owned certified so no points. If you're buying from any dealer including Ford ask for this to be done before you buy. Thoughts?

GM should give you points for getting that Maverick off their lot. Because it is pointing out that they have no small truck. Bet that Chevy dealer couldn't wait to get that thing off the lot. I can see customers now: "What's this?".

Don't understand your beef? Why should you get points? Points apply to purchases of NEW Ford vehicles.

Congrats on your Mav, hope you enjoy it but no points. If you think about it Ford would lose a lot of money if they gave points every time a Ford was resold. I highly doubt any of us bought new to get the points, it's nice for 3 oil changes or an accessory but it certainly didn't influence me.

I had a hybrid '22 Area 51 FE...and I did get the points.

Perhaps "Ford Blue Advantage" is the right place to start a search for used Mavericks if
one is concerned with receiving points from Ford:

Even if you could claim points buying a vehicle from a different brand outlet, I doubt they would be worth the cost of getting the vehicle "certified".
