Power Window button cut finger

Has anybody had any troubles with the window switches? Really weird scenario where it sliced my finger open pretty deep. Looks like the metallic part pulled back.

This has been noted in the past by a small number of owners, it is believed to be a manufacturing flaw. It was a problem in some Escapes as well, but was never as wide spread with the Maverick. If your Maverick is still under factory warranty, ask the dealership to have their warranty rep check with Ford.

If you were injured have your dealer sumit a GCR "Global concern report" about what caused it
They (Ford) take injuries very seriously
