I haven't cut my fingers on it yet, but the Lane Keep Assist button on the end of my Mav's turn signal stalk was also cheaply made and has a very sharp edge on it.

Same here. The plastics found on dollar store items are better than some of what's on the Maverick.

Ok, talked to the Chat Bot at Ford and also my salesman. He said bring it into the dealership, let the service dept. take pictures and order parts, and they'll fix it...completely under warranty.

Part #LB5Z-14A268-AB, if you don't want the dealership messing with your Maverick. These are chrome OEM tips that are easy to replace yourself, and they come in a package of 7. They are affordable, but you will need to pay for shipping.

The dealership will often mess up something else while they "fix" the original problem. They will frequently scratch up your panels while doing this repair under warranty. Seen it too many times.
