I'm an old guy with lots of CDs. my 2026 XLT ,lux has no CD player, so I bought a plug in usb single disk player. The screen doesn't recognize the player or disk. What am I missing. any help appreciated. thanks.

CD ripping software and a .wav to .flac audio encoder. A USB stick with well ordered folders and track titles will serve you better than 100s of cds scattered all over the truck.

I feel your frustration.
I miss having a CD player. I got rid of my PC and laptop when it started saying that Vista was outdated and the system would not work.
I have no PC or Laptop to rip CDs on to a flash drive. 100% phone based.
I won't use any imaging statements like 'CD scattered all over the truck.'
