Boom!

You crack me up with this word salad.

Your inability to use punctuation properly, or construct a coherent sentence is fun though.

Aint nobody got a 20k truck my friend- Base XL is 21,490 without a single option- And F that- At least get C360 package and tow hitch - $22, 440 - Boom- Some folks need AWD/FX4/Lariat + Lux- and that point not "cheap truck omg" but still a value compared to equivalents - Many don't want no Mid-size bloat- The added conveniences/option package of Lariat vs XL is worth $8k to some, its a huge step up- I get it

Perspective: everyone knows Tesla's are not economy priced and as of recent, gotten even more stupid expensive such that my 4 year old car would probably sell for what it originally cost even with 45k miles on the clock

Point being it came with bare metal throttle pedal and uninspiring (ok cheap) brake cover. Getting the fancy metal covers, please add 10k to price.

Amazon-sourced pedal covers, similar to what's been shown here, doing fine last 4 years/45k miles. Adding to my potential todo-list

If you think the gas pedal looks cheap, look at the intake manifold on the engine and it gets hotter than the pedal. My wife's 2003 Focus had a plastic intake and it developed a vacume leak. Took it to Ford dealer. They broke the original plastic intake manifold fixing the leak. That repair was on them. Lucky me. Reality is that more things, not less, will be molded in plastic.

Maybe glue some rubber on the pedal. Start your own business making them and pedal your wares.
Pedal your wares. 🤣

I know this question doesn't go with the topic, but maybe someone will have an answer. My Maverick hybrid lariat sits in the garage with the key fob inside the truck. I've noticed that the truck makes noises just setting there. Is this something that I should be concerned about ?

Mine does the same. I believe it's normal.

I ordered these earlier this morning. They look the same size as the others that were posted on this thread. Only $20.00! Not too bad!

I'll update after I install with some pics and oberservations.

Without a doubt the gas pedal is cheap. I replaced both the gas pedal and the brake pedal with much better looking pads that also fit the Bronco. No screws or glue. The rubber brake pad easily came off, the new nicer one just slide into place very securely. The gas pedal doesn't it have a cover, it is what it is...so you slide the new one over top and it has been very secure. I plan also to put a driver side foot rest in place as well. The new pads are metal with horizontal rubber strips, I was amazed at how much better the interior looks! Ebay had the stuff I got.
Could you provide some pics of the changes?

I have no idea of how to transfer pics to this forum, but my brake and gas pedals look just like the ones posted at the beginning of this forum. The brake pedal rubber pad came off(not easily) and the metal/rubber pad went on with some effort. The accelerator pedal has no pad...but the metal/rubber replacement pad was tough to put on,which is good because it has not shown any sign of slippage. I'm sure our more tech savvy buddies will post pics soon. They really make the driver side look very nice. For $20.00 not bad!!
