You may need to remove the face, like these Aptiv/Delphi style.

I think you are right, although it is not clear to me how to do that. I tried prying on it a little bit but it did not budge and I don't want to break it. I suspect there is a locking tab that I'm not seeing.

From what I can tell it is a PA-SPS-GF20 connector, but I haven't been able to find instructions on how to disassemble it.

Lots of other connectors in this video, but none that match:

I'm pretty sure I'm just missing something obvious.

All those dam different styles of connectors drive me crazy! Once you find the combination (whatever it might be) it will pull apart easily

The back cap (black with the white blanking pins in it) should come off with tabs. The the whiteish face should also release with some small tabs then you'll use a paperclip to release the pin

Thank you.
This is the HS2-CAN by the fuse box?

What did you end up accessing it for?

A wire was chafed from the factory and I wanted to replace it. Turned out the copper inside was not touched so I simply sealed over the damaged part and didn't have to remove the wire from the connector.

I've always used a dental pick for the terminals & a tiny flat screw driver to remove the white locking block

But what you were trying to depin is just the cap for the HS2-CAN port...

It has no wires attached to anything. The only one that is there is a tether, so that you don't lose the cap when you take it off.
