Probably not going to be seeing that GTL oil again any time soon. I honestly thought the "new" non-GTL Pennzoil was just re-labeled Quaker State, but it must be different since they have go through the Dexos testing again.

Amazon is still offering 0w20 QS 5 quart jugs for $20.

I retired from the oil and gas industry that specialized in equipment, upstream, midstream and downstream. Our lead time ran about a year. Of course it depends on the damage but I'd be impressed to see it up and running before that time frame.

Good thing Shell is increasing GTL production in North America starting in 2027. This would be a great opportunity for other regions to take away the middle east’s stranglehold on this market.

The only downside to stocking up like that for typical personal use is that the additives start to separate from the base oil the longer they sit.
