I have a P0446 code, based on other forums (mostly F150 Forums) I ended up checking for 12 volts at the electrical connector on the charcoal canister. I have no voltage at this connector. When I pull the connector the code doesn’t change so I think I’m in the right spot. Since I can’t get any voltage at that connector I’m believing it’s a wiring issue to the connector. It’s not in the harness leading to the connector, can anyone confirm if this wire goes to the pcm in the drivers side front wheel well? Can I run 12 volts directly to this harness to test it? I’m at a bit of a loss for where to go from here, the purge valve works fine so it’s not that. Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks.

After some additional digging, I have 3.4 bolts from the connector to ground. I have no continuity from the other pin to ground. Could I have a bad ground somewhere possibly?

I realize taking pics is sometimes almost impossible - but helpful as a learning aid for those of us who have no clue or imagination of how the final fix is accomplished. Good luck with your investigation & fix!

Do not put 12V on the control side of the circuit or you'll damage the PCM
The PCM controls the vent solenoid by grounding the circuit, It's called ground side switching.
It's (PCM) is looking for 12V on the control side with the solenoid acting a current limiter, if it doesn't see 12V -P0446.
I would start removing the insulating tape at the connector & looking for any signs of green corrosion
