The other 6 or 7 mistakes they just told me to keep or donate it (it’s probably the supplier/seller that gets the short stick, not Amazon).

Sheila, offered to refund my purchase price for the light bar as a "Thank you" on behalf of XT. I countered with "Could I just keep an additional light bar and send back 2"? Why don't people these do the right thing?

If it was your business:
1. Would you want to know if an employee made a huge mistake?
2. Would you want the customer to do the right thing and return the extras?
3. Would you thank the customer by offering an one time discount for their honesty? (This happened to me)
And the justification that keeping the extra, equals the shortages you didn't receive? You know you bitch to sellers
when you're short until you get your product or money back!

I've received over-deliveries, wrong items received etc, from many different vendor over the years, Every time I've reported it, they say "keep it." It's just not worth their time and trouble to do a return.
Most companies expect and budget for a certain small percent of problems with sales, and they book it to "errors and omissions." Karma not an issue.

Gosh! You order one you get twelve, can't imagine why they would be out of stock.Yes. It's for the hybrid and the filter is surprisingly tiny which is probably why I got the whole case. The cabin air filter is twice as big and the box for a single one of those was bigger than the box for this entire case of engine filters.
I think Walmart was actually the only place that had both the cabin AND engine filter in stock, most online stores only had one or the other. Even Amazon was out of stock. It's worth a shot getting them from there and seeing if you get lucky with 5 free filters
