No it really does not unless you add sound kind of sound deadening material to it...not recommended since it will also add heat and age to the plastics on top of this engine.does the engine cover help with the "sewing machine" noises?

I also researched and had orderd on of those. Seems like they will be around for a while since the vehicle is fairly new. Thanks for the TURBO emblem. I will put that on mine too.
???Yeah, definitely do!!
Spotless engine compartment! Do you even drive it?I've had the truck since October and have slowly been plugging away at small things to make it exactly what I want. Just finished up installing an engine cover (was the Lincoln one, but solved that with a $5 logo from Amazon), and the Buschur's intake. Love the new intake and can hear the turbo a bit more.
Along with that, just a quick rundown of everything I've done so far to the truck (more for my own recollecting so I've got it all in one place for future reference). Definitely going for more subtle, especially with the exterior touches.
- new tires (Vredestein Pinza AT in 245/70r17)
- new wheels (Sport Terrain CV-1 from tirerack.com)
- leveling Kit (1.75" from fordrangerlifts.com)
- folding hard bed cover (Backflip MX4)
- trailer hitch cover (Amazon)
- hood deflector (EGR from Amazon)
- hood struts (DeeZee from Amazon)
- full window tint (including high UV on the windshield)
- start/stop eliminator (4dTech from Amazon)
- Buschur's intake
- Steeda blow off valve
- exhaust updated to give more ground clearance (removed the exhaust from the rear diff back and dumped it out in front of the diff)
- engine cover (was the Lincoln one, but swapped the logo)
- shorty antenna
- full LED exterior bulb swap (Lasfit)
- new floormats (Tuxmat from Canada)
- storage mats (under rear seat - Mabett)
- center console organizer (Amazon)
- new seat covers (Mabett from Amazon)
- wireless Apple CarPlay adapter
- full speaker swap (Alpine S2 front/rear)
In the future I'd love to add a powered hideaway sub behind the rear seat, a wireless charging pad in the center console where the Lariat's is, and the Raptor-style grill with the amber lighting. Slowly getting there though, but am really happy where the truck is at currently.

Can't believe I missed this, my apologies! They've been AWESOME. They look great, they wear well (I'm 28k miles into them now), and they do awesome offroad. They're not "mudding" tires, but that's not what I was going for. They're A/T tires with 70k mile treadwear, fits the bill for what I was looking for. And they're lighter than the other tires available in the same size, so less rolling resistance & wear on the drivetrain. How are the Vredestein Pinza AT in 245/70r17 tires holding up? I saw your post on another thread mentioning you got them a while back. Any updates? They look great! Thinking about getting them. Just concerned about potential ware in the drivetrain in the long run.
The Lincoln engine covers should also fit a 25 Mavericks as well, right? Can't believe I missed this, my apologies! They've been AWESOME.
