I have been using this paste wax in 2004 and do not mind old fashion hand waxing(and before that mequires clean and wax back in the 70's) in Florida ,sometimes in the sun, and it looks great. Just looked the hood reflection of the sky. Use to use on my 2003 ranger edge model with sonic blue color as well. It brings out the deepness and metallic nicely. Also have the liquid version of the same wax. Love ❤ it.

That looks gorgeous! Nice job! I used to love hand waxing my vehicles when I was younger, I would spend most of the day washing and then carefully and slowly hand waxing while blasting music from the stereo in my garage. Sometimes I would even wash my car the day before an expected rain storm and then put it in the garage and would spend the rainy day in the garage hand waxing it. It gave me something to do on a rainy summer day.

But these days the new synthetic & ceramic spray waxes provide more shine and not only are they more durable than any paste wax ever was but they are so much easier and faster to apply. And now that I'm older and don't have the free time I had when I was younger due job, kids, etc I do definitely appreciate that there are all these newer spray waxes that are great.

I will look into advance products as well, for I am 65 now, and not as young as I use to be

Two of the best on the market are Turtle Wax Ice & Shine and Turtle wax Hybrid Solutions. Ice & Shine can literally bead for close to a year. But there are many, many more similar one's.

It's a bit of an old video but the turtle wax ones are still good products . The Griots spray ceramic is generally recommended over it and Meguires is a little worse but easy to find at harbor freight and use a coupon.

If the OP is used to hand waxing then a diy ceramic coating kit may be a good option.

Your truck looks fantastic! Meguires has always made some of the best detailing products for sure

I'm the exact same way. I love hand waxing/polishing my truck. It's a great stress reliever and just something I enjoy doing. I put ceramic on my wife's car and it's nice but I like using my zaino polishes on my truck.

There are countless other brands as well, watch some videos on Youtube and try a few different one's. You're going to be amazed how quickly and easily you can apply these new spray waxes and how good your truck will look. Good luck!

Yeah, I just posted one video that's I've watched in the past just to give him idea of what I was talking about But he can search youtube and find countless videos testing some of the newer spray waxes.
