I apologize if there is already a thread on the topic, but it would be helpful to know what people are paying for Mavericks off the lot (Mavericks that were not ordered by the buyer). The more detail (e.g. hybrid v ecoboost) the better.

OK. It would be very helpful if there was a single thread like the one they have on the Ridgeline forum. Trying to decide which way to go if my current car gives up before my order gets filled (if it ever gets filled). But I suppose I can wait until I have to make a decision.

Last week I paid MSRP out of state for a 2023 hybrid XLT that someone backed out of getting who ordered it a year ago... Just came in last week. The dealers in Mass don't have any ( that arent sold ) and if they did they all were selling them over MSRP... Not true in Maine though thank God! I'd suggest looking around, even out of state, and asking dealers if they expect people to back out of their orders. I can imagine if orders are taking a year+ to get filled a lot of them won't go to the original buyer - many can't wait a YEAR+ for a vehicle!

I bought one last year and one in January of this year and paid $2K over for both of them. Good thing is that when our Lariats were built, we recouped EVERY cent of the ADMP, plus. Some will try to get $8 to $10K, especially for hybrids, but most are in the $2-$5K range.

My dealer charges MSRP for customer orders plus $129 doc fee but they had only one customer in 22 and 23 refuse their order and sold that for $8k over. They also bought a used 22 XLT for $31,000 (in mid-June) and marked it up $10k. They wanted it to sit out front so MY24 ordering customers could see one and sit inside it. Unless, of course, if someone came along and was dumb enough to pay $41,000 for it because they couldn't wait. It will be for sale next week at a negotiable price after they stop taking orders.
