I know the OP says 'this thread is not about that', but I just replaced mine with a 'premium' activated charcoal filter that also weighed 3x as much as the OEM filter for $9 off Amazon. Just sayin.

9 bucks, ug. I paid 42 at the Ford dealer. Never again.

Beware the Luberfiner filters from Rockauto. They are cheaper because they are less material. OEM vs one.
