So we had a spray in bed liner added basically since day one, and have loved it so far. But there are a few areas where the spray in bed liner, and area 51 paint have been scraped off in the bed, so it's bare metal. We believe this was from this big box TV we were getting rid of. It was pretty heavy, and had very sharp corners, so it just chipped some of it off.

Is it possible to buy bed liner spray in almost a rattle can format? I just want to touch up those few small areas before winter sets in and it rusts. The chips are small, only a few centimeters across, so it's not a huge deal. But I just don't want to leave them exposed.

shouldn't that be covered under warranty from whatever company applied the spray in bed liner?

It should be covered by the company that originally applied it. But if that is not convenient, you can pick up spray can or roll-on bed liner "paint" at Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot and the like.

Read the rhino warranty, doesn't cover that
Technically it Peeled from the surface. IMO any reputable dealer/mfg of a spray in bed liner would fix it right up at no cost. Protection is their whole purpose. Must say in all my years I've never seen one get damaged. Either way, never hurts to check with them before spending your own cash.

I ask and got this answer from my Linex dealer. They warranty chips, scratches of the Linex material but customer pays for dealers labor. My dealer could not remember ever having to spend more than a few minutes fixing a scratch...I'd go that route first...After market Walyworld spray liner might not match or stick.

It's not uncommon for major brands. Example: https://rhinolinings.com/warranty/
This was applied by my dealership directly. I don't know what brand of spray in bed liner it was, I could reach out to them and find out. But again, if it's easy to find spray in bed liner cans at Walmart and Lowes, I have those stores within a mile of my house, so it might just be easier to go that route. Thank you for the feedback.

Thank you for the feedback everyone. I'm going to look into doing it myself if it's not too expensive. I can't stress enough that it's a very minor scratch. I have a decent relationship with my dealer, so if carrying the work out first hand is too expensive, I'll file a warranty claim through them, and the company they used.

My Lariat came with Ford’s version of a spray in bedliner. I never have considered this to be anything more than pretty heavy duty paint… which is why as soon as I got the truck, I ordered an inexpensive rubber mat from Amazon.

Flymotor Custom Fit Car Cargo Mat... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y5N1LNX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

While peculiarly this is showing as unavailable at the moment, there were plenty to choose from.

Even if the dealer had it done, you should have a warranty for the aftermarket product. I have had one Rhino SIBL and 3 trucks w/LineX over the years. Dragged stoves and appliances, 24" boxed trees, scrap lumber, furniture etc. over the SIBL without any issues. My guess is they did not do a thorough prep before applying the very tough SIBL maaterial. You should not have to baby it.

Apropos of nothing, the best bed was in my 2012 Tacoma. Fewer seams for debris to collect in than my 2006 and 2016 GMC Canyons or my Mav. [Tacoma V6 was a gas hog.]

Yes you can get that stuff in a can. You may want to hit any bare spots with self etching primer first.
