It would be nice to know WHY these hybrids are not being built. It would probably ease the frustration.

My opinion most likely is Airbags. My current XL is recalled and January is the estimate to get it fixed, and I think that also caused a lot of August builds to sit. If they are playing catchup on those, it is probably slowing everything down.

Fingers crossed for everyone to have a surprise bump forward before November, I don't know how they will get everyone done that week.

Thought the @fordvideoguy said that electric motors were tight and now a line item constraint. My guess that is the issue with people getting pushed.

I haven't watched his videos in two weeks, so your guess is probably better than mine. Ford is such a mess, I don't get why they aren't just transparent.

My build week has been pushed back many times and found out today that it has been pushed back again to November 14.

I can't go on.... I go on.

I feel your pain, my 1 year order birthday was yesterday. I was only pushed back once, from Nov 7th to Nov 14, but at least no further(yet). A positive is that hopefully the bugs/recall/issues are cleared up by the time its built.

Yes, looks like the defective 12 volt cable has been fixed and tsb issued.

Picked up mine Monday, fit and finish is all good, steering and handling like a sedan but higher seating. Really quiet under 50mph , more than satisfied ( 52mpg for 200miles, 50 miles of interstate)

My question is whether any hybrids are actually being built currently. We can only see anecdotally on this forum, but it looks to me like everyone who is scheduled and not yet built is getting pushed back. Has anyone gone into production recently, or expect to go into production this week or next?

And pushed back again this time to November 7th. As my wife likes to say "Maybe for Christmas".

Tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of my order.

I'll be the last from my dealership to get a MY22. They had 2 unfilled, one cancelled and the other ordered a MY23. Have you all checked to see if you are the end of the line for MY22. Consider myself lucky to be at the end of the line for MY22. Very thankful. Now please deliver my truck so they can do the final prep and can possible ceramic coat it this weekend and have NH18 New Hampshire Oil treatment scheduled for 24th depending on weather. Price went up 6 times this year.
