Just got an email at midnight stating my estimated build date has changed. Now the 8th of November and was previously the 1st. My order is an EcoBoost Lariat AWD, heavily optioned up. Sad news.

Yup, it has happened to several here. Some of us (me) got two emails on one day, first to bump it a week, second to bump it another week on top of that.

But my scheduled build is October 25, and I will be happy if that holds.

I’ve mostly seen hybrids move back. Thought it might be noteworthy being an EcoBoost delayed. Used to always seeing EBs scheduled, built, and delivered quickly.

Yes, sorry, I was going to mention that detail, and failed. Agreed, it is good to share that delay with the EB world.

My EB was moved from 11-15 to 11-22 for production based on a 10:20 pm email from Ford last night (10-9). VIN is 21233. Hope this was an adjustment for us all and they keep the EB's moving down the production line!

Yes, I also received an email last night changing my production week from 11/1 to 11/8. I ordered the XLT 2.0L EB shadow black standard package.

Yup same here. It’s gotta be because of the shut down. Which makes me think originally my truck www going to be built on my birthday….which would have been cool

It seems like Ford is pushing build dates back a week due to the planned 2 day shutdown this week. My build was moved from 11/22 to 11/29. At least it will be built during a full week and not a half week before a holiday with everyone wanting to go home and have a party.

I got bumped too. And it makes sense with the 2 day shut down this week. If you think about it, 2 days is 40% of the work week (if the plant produces 5 days a week). So, realistically, 40% of orders each week would have to move to the following week. Thursday and Friday builds are now Monday and Tuesday builds.

So that means there are a lot of emails to send out to the many that would be affected.

Ford emails are way behind.

My dealer emailed me on 10/5 that my Hybrid build date was moved from 11/8 to 11/15.

Just now on 10/10 at 9:58 PM CDT I received an email from Ford stating that my build date was changed to 11/15.

Looks like the problems others here have said about Ford email communications were true.
