  1. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

I had a 2017 Rpod before this and the quality issues were less severe.
  2. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

it's a shame, but I just can't recommend it based on my experience. Maybe in a few years they'll be better.
  3. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

love the color and get a lot of compliments on it!
  4. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

I've owned other trailers and this one was worse than average. Could just be the current times/demand tho - perhaps they're all that bad now.
  5. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

the cabinet for the AC is horribly designed and is nearly impossible to keep from leaking inside the trailer; there's no spare tire or rear bumper, my dinette fell apart the first night, and the overall fit and finish is very mediocre when you really look at it
  6. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

I'd say the trailer was about 2000lbs as loaded and the truck around 4000 with myself and gear included.
  7. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

MPG is from the onboard computer. Regular 87 gasoline. As towed the trailer was around 2000lbs. I still can't figure out how to get it to actually show the number that the brake controller is set to, and the manual is no help. My TT does have brakes, though it hardly needs them at that weight.
  8. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

many of our highways have a 75mph speed limit, but I usually don't go above 70 and usually stay around 65 when towing.
  9. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

I like it, but I can't recommend it as there's been a lot of workmanship and design choice issues with it.
  10. Maverick Travel Trailer Towing and 1300 Mile Review

Just wanted to share some thoughts on towing travel trailer with my new Maverick, as well as general thoughts on the truck so far: Maverick XLT Ecoboost with towing package, AWD, and co-pilot 360. Towing: I'm pulling a very small trailer (only 17ft and roughly 1800 pounds empty), but the...
  11. Weight distribution hitch

As I understand it, it's generally not advised to use a weight distribution hitch on a unibody truck, but if you're going to be around the max weight you'd probably want one.... so a bit of a conundrum.
  12. Ecoboost - Week of 11/8

and now I just got a ford email saying 11/15 build date even though it's already showing in production...?
  13. Ecoboost - Week of 11/8

Interestingly, either today or yesterday my status changed to "in production".
  14. Ecoboost - Week of 11/8

I never got an email pushing it out, but indeed the dealer can see it's now scheduled for 11/16.
  15. Ecoboost - Week of 11/8

I will check with the dealer, thanks gents. Hopefully they'll know how to check, they've been pretty unimpressive so far....
  16. Ecoboost - Week of 11/8

I had an XLT Ecoboost AWD 4k towing Cactus Green scheduled for this week (already pushed once, was 11/1). I assumed I'd be pushed to 11/15 with the plant downtime, but I never received a reschedule email, so I was slightly hopeful it might still build this week. Still no re-schedule email, but...
  17. Order confirmed, question on Details

Not true, my dealer gave me the DORA the day it was ordered - well before I had a VIN/scheduled date. They look like this (just stole this off google)
  18. Order confirmed, question on Details

Make them give you an actual copy of the DORA with your name on it and all the options/colors/etc. I've not heard of anyone's confirmation showing the wrong color. My confirmation had some incorrect stuff and after getting the DORA I ended up having to put in a new order because the dealer...
