I feel for you to be honest. I had read a lot about the 2022 ordering so I went in prepared when I placed my 2023. I was polite but firm in what I wanted to see. Got my confirmation in 20 minutes and my COVP two days later.

If I were you I would go to the dealer and ask to see the sales manager (not the sales person). Tell him/her you are concerned that your order was placed correctly and ask them to look it up and give you the order status, priority code and the COVP confirmation. If they can't do that I would ask why and insist that either the sales manager or general manager explain the situation.

Yes….of course it is. This tread isn’t about build dates, it’s about the dealer possibility not ordering anything for the OP twice.

It sounds like the OP put in (or at least tried to put in) an order for a MY23 and his dealer only gave him some other paper…not the one that everyone else got showing what they ordered.

Southway ford did it to me again. My first order never went in and now I found out they never submitted my new order when the banks opened up. I believe they submitted it but perhaps sold it for the upcharge. I am soo upset! How can they get away with that!

I drove from South Texas out to Odessa in the spring, and bought an XL to replace my aging car until my order came in. 10/10 great dealer, and absolutely 0 BS.

Probably about a 5-6 hour drive from you, but unless things have changed they will sell a cancelled order for MSRP.

I had a WAY better experience there than my local dealer.
