Before the 2025 models arrived at dealers and people starting buying them, I noticed a LOT of hate for the front end re-design. Myself included. I was not a fan. In fact I was eager to get the previous design since that was the original Maverick that I fell in love with. This new front-end, at least on Ford’s website, looked AWFUL and my heart sunk.

…until I saw it in person. Then my opinion completely changed. I cannot exactly express why it looks so much better in person. But I think it’s partly due to the fact that all the camera angles were taken as if you were looking at it from 2 feet off the ground. The new bottom lip looked huge. And you focused on that more than you did the horn-shape of the lights. But when you see it in person, generally you’re looking at it from a higher vantage point, and you can see the 3D shape of it, rather than just a “slab” that is covering up the old lights.

I’m at the point now where I actually PREFER it over the original design. I love the horn-shaped lights. Anyone feel the same? Have you noticed a decrease in the hate for the front-end?
Nope, hate th

I like the grille on the '25 but this portion on each side of it still looks weird to me.

At first I hated it too, then after seeing it more, it grew on me especially the Lariat even better with lights on. I traded my 23 in, mostly for the 4k and 4x4, but now the older trucks remind me of the brick nose late 80s pickups with the gigantic headlights

I never really looked at the Maverick prior to the 2025 but now that I own one I love the refreshed front end

Why is it considered "hate" and somehow wrong to express one's opinion that Ford really messed up with the redesigned front facia on the 2025 Maverick? This is not much different than when Ford decided to come out with the awful design of the 1997 F-150 with the hideous sloping front hood. That was a terrible design and ruined the look of the F-150. Some of us feel the same way about the 2025 Maverick redesign. Guess those of us who "hate" the 2025 look will just have to wait for a future purchase again until they do another redesign, like what happed with the F-150.

It's because the first person said they"HATE" it. I personally don't care what anyone says it looks way better than the old one.

“Hate” is probably a little harsh but I respect other opinions and I know there are plenty of things I dislike on many vehicles if there is anything I wish they wouldn’t have changed on the 2025 it’s the ACC Radar location not because of the look but this change makes installing a baseplate to flat tow it challenging for the baseplate manufacturers they are really struggling to get this engineered and to the market…

Personally, I don't care. When I'm driving it, I don't see the front end. I only see it briefly (maybe) when walking up to my Mav. And personally, I don' t stare at my Mav out of admiration as it's a tool to me ... I really like it a lot so far and plan on taking good care of it, but ultimately it's still a tool to haul myself, my family, and stuff around.

I feel the same way about the plastic interior bits. My Prius V had a soft touch dashboard (and other bits) on the parts within arms reach. You know, in the 6 1/2 years I owned it, I noticed I never once caressed my dashboard ... and I probably only touched it 2 or 3 times in the years I owned it. I also don't plan on caressing my Mav's dashboard (frankly, I much prefer caressing my wife over any car/truck dashboard anyway)

I didn't care for it at first, but was never like some people who HATED it.
I actually like it a lot now. My eyes have adjusted to the changed grill and headlights and see it as much more contemporary and stylish. Well done, Ford!

Had my first '25 sighting a few days ago, Eruption Green parked on a lot with front end facing me. Nice color, but the new grill still had me reaching for the eye bleach...

Once I've seen enough of them I'm hopeful my brain will start "editing out" the grill (like it did for the awful "predator face" Lexus grills).

Sure glad I bought the '24-not the best front out there, but...
I did look at my front end at night, and the look with all the lights on, spectacular. IMHO
Just needs some orange lights on the front of the hood scoop.
