Before the 2025 models arrived at dealers and people starting buying them, I noticed a LOT of hate for the front end re-design. Myself included. I was not a fan. In fact I was eager to get the previous design since that was the original Maverick that I fell in love with. This new front-end, at least on Ford’s website, looked AWFUL and my heart sunk.

…until I saw it in person. Then my opinion completely changed. I cannot exactly express why it looks so much better in person. But I think it’s partly due to the fact that all the camera angles were taken as if you were looking at it from 2 feet off the ground. The new bottom lip looked huge. And you focused on that more than you did the horn-shape of the lights. But when you see it in person, generally you’re looking at it from a higher vantage point, and you can see the 3D shape of it, rather than just a “slab” that is covering up the old lights.

I’m at the point now where I actually PREFER it over the original design. I love the horn-shaped lights. Anyone feel the same? Have you noticed a decrease in the hate for the front-end?

I was interested in trade in My 2022 for a 25 with the hybrid all we drive and tow package. I went to the North American Autoshow (to look at a Cadillac Celestique I have a lead roll in interior components) Either way I still do not like the front end. I'm less offended by it but it seems they are charging way more for just as much truck either way. I'm keeping my 2022. The front end and the price both made me move away from trading mine in.

I’m okay with the refreshed front cap being this is my first Maverick regarding the look, however lowering the ACC Radar has challenged those of us in the RV Community who purchased the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid to flat tow 4 wheels down behind our Motorhomes, the neutral tow mode is great but at this point the absences of being able to purchase a proven baseplate is frustrating

You don't like the '60 Starliner? It's gorgeous! The '59 is way overwrought (but a huge improvement over the gaudy '58 with its fake hood scoop).
Not saying I didn’t like the Starliner at all.
Just trying to point out the major changes that used to occur between model years. 1958, 1959, 1960 were great examples of that.

“Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you though.”
