No hardware in TAILGATE LINER KIT Normal?

I used my points to get two things the bed mat and the TAILGATE LINER KIT this part https://accessories.ford.com/FordUSAccessories/maverick-2022-tailgate-liner-kit

The picture shows it has a complete hardware different screws and washers. Yet all I got was a pace of plastic the tailgate plastic piece itself.. I called Ford they said I have to RETURN the whole thing then after refund I order again,. WTF Really they cant just send the hardware . art. BUT it LOOKS like hardware should come as it shows it in picture.
Has anyone else got it with hardware??

I used points otherwise I would just order another one right away. BUT afraid they refund points and i would be out money for second cover.

I just ordered one w my points as well… I’ll let you know as soon as it arrives - it def should include hardware!

I received my liner today; hardware was included. BUT - I consider myself very lucky given the way the whole thing was shipped! Just loose in a ripped plastic bag; no box or proper packaging
Come on Ford - you can do better than that!

I ended up finding the part number for the hardware and just ordered it. Not worth the hassle to return and maybe get hardware next time. Ford did credit me 10.88 not sure why but never sent me a return label either. lol.

I got the kit BUT it turned out to be wrong,. I just used washers under the plastic piece and found the factory screws were long enough . I can post a picture if you like.

What a terrible shame this is. It shouldn't be all that hard for Ford to include a little sack of screws and washers and for the dealer to keep track of that package until it was handed off to the customer.

I got the kit BUT it turned out to be wrong,. I just used washers under the plastic piece and found the factory screws were long enough . I can post a picture if you like.

Okay two picture one is a drawing best I can do not much of a drawer. I used the factory screws as when I removed them looked into tailgate I saw they stick well into tailgate so in other words they are plenty long enough. When you set the plastic cover on the tailgate there is a good amount of gap under it it does touch the tailgate. So I put three washers under cover to take up that gap. Not sure I explained that very well I hope the drawing I made better explains what I am trying to say. Two pictures below .One drawing other picture of tailgate with cover in place. I also used one fender washer per screw too plus the washer that is in place on factory screw.

My liner also was missing the hardware. Talked to Ford and they could only say to return it. Mine has been returned once already. I used a bunch of washers and mounted it with the screws already in the tailgate. Seems to work.
