Where can you find the measurement for the length of the 2x4? All I can find on google is that you can use 2x4s and 2x6s, but nothing on the actual length. I would measure myself, but I dont have a truck to measure.

FTR...
Ordered and received the tailgate liner....very nice.
Picked it up at the dealership in a factory sealed package and the included hardware was for a different Ford accessory. Getting the correct hardware has proven to be a surprisingly impossible challenge.

I had the same problem, just re use the screws and washer that are there and add a home depot washer to it.

Thank you for your reply and link...MUCH appreciated.
After the never-ending classic ping pong response..
Ford refers to dealership and dealership refers to Ford, we figured that it was time to contact customer relations and take a trip to the Home Depot!
Thanks again.
Should have included in original post...
After 7 months of waiting, we built up some very high expectations. Our 2 week old Maverick truck exceeded all of them...by a lot. Absolutely LOVE IT!
If you’re waiting...take heart...definitely worth the wait.

Anyone get the Ford Bed Mat yet? I ordered one because I thought it would be a bit softer on the old knees. But I'm wondering if anyone can tell what it's really like.
Yes definitely makes crawling around in the bed more comfortable and it's a little "sticky" so things don't roll around as much. Only complaint would be can't access D-Rings in the bottom of the bed so I have to take it out all the time when I use cargo net.

Given where the D-Rings are in relation to the mat, would it be possible to use a hole saw and just make round openings in the mat over the D-Rings?

(Without sawing through to the gas tank, of course... ;))

Yes that's what I'm thinking about doing although I might not cut hole, I'm thinking about using a sharp utility knife and maybe cutting a plus (+) or (x) then the ring can poke through when needed. But if you lift the corner of the mat up push the ring back down the mat won't really have a hole in it, and will hopefully look like there's no cuts at all when the ring is not in use.

Good idea. I'm using an old house rug the dog chewed. A slot at each tiedown will work better that turning the rug back.

Why slippery plastic over a rubber mat. The bottom of a rubber mat conforms the the bed‘s groves, but give you a flat surface in top. I’m getting a Bed Rug Impact mat (not the rug texture). It even has a flexible section to cover the gap between bed and tailgate. List $289 from Ford, $183 fromBed Rug.

Hi I'm think of ordering this too!

Is it pretty slick? Also where do the screws attach to hold it down in the bed?
