A perfect example of the total lies dealership will use. I got a total of 6 emails about my Maverick from Ford.
Personally, I wouldn't mind getting monthly updates (if there is anything new for them to report). The silence would bother me more!

Your order number is tied to your MY22 order so that is what they are responding to. There is no linkage between MY22 and MY23 (i.e., order number is likely to be different) so until you give them the MY23 order number they will not be able to look it up.
I know. The issue is that anyone checking their MY23 without an email from Ford has to know their MY23 order number. I have not been able to obtain my MY23 order number from salesperson yet. They have reassured me that my order is in, but I'm skeptical.

I know. The issue is that anyone checking their MY23 without an email from Ford has to know their MY23 order number. I have not been able to obtain my MY23 order number from salesperson yet. They have reassured me that my order is in, but I'm skeptical.
The Order # should not be a secret. Things are getting close to crunch time now. May i advise another dealer tomorrow if your original dealer cannot or will not supply the number? I am optimistic that those of us that have gotten our Mavericks ordered during this cycle will stand a great chance of getting one. Subsequent cycles, if there are any, who knows.

No vin but order # and confirmation of 2022 order, nothing on the rollover order
Just FYI in case you didn't know, everything I've read and heard the rollover is not automatic. Have you placed a new order for a 2023 with your dealer?

Chat worked for me (no e-mail going on 48 hrs). Took ~5 mins once I got someone (~20 mins). Would love to know, from those who ordered a MY22 but got no e-mail then: How did you get updates to know when yours got scheduled, built, & got delivered (assuming it did)?

I’d like to chime in and say thank you so much for this. Was able to get confirmation through the chat that my order is in. I was so nervous without an email.

Just got back from my dealership. I now semi understand what they are doing. They are waiting for the rollover orders to show as "balanced out" prior to placing the new rollover order. Not sure I'm real comfortable with that yet. I also other dealerships are not doing that. They are placing new orders for the rollover orders. They stated that Ford is still scheduling 2022 orders, so there is a chance that my order would get scheduled. It seems they don't want to have to cancel a 2023 order if that happens.

I discussed the fact that the order banks will be closing next week. They confirmed that and said they will close on Wednesday. But they will only be closing for new orders. They claim that Ford has prioritized all non scheduled rollover orders and will make sure that they get scheduled. That being said there is only a couple week window to roll over an order.

Not sure I'm happy with the situation. I would be happier if I had an order confirmation in hand, or MY23 order number, or a VIN for MY22 order.

Anyway if other dealers are doing the same as mine, that is the reason you haven't received an email.

Also throwing in my thanks for the chat advice.

I only had a preview order number but with that, the dealership name & dealership zip code, chat confirmed yesterday's order is in the system.

And now, the wait begins.

Thanks for this thread. I got the same message that my order is in processing. I was feeling a little anxious like many others who haven’t received an email confirmation. I ordered mine Saturday morning and the salesman said it could take a day or so but he was sure the order went through. The dealership I used is closed on Sunday so I figured I would call him Monday.
