These look great and I’m a huge fan of Mabett accessories (love the organizers, seat covers, hooks, mud flaps, cup holders, dashboard tray, etc), but I saw the terrible condensation inside the fender badge lights and hesitant to get this. I hope it holds up!

I finally found some time to install the Mabett light bar that I scored on Black Friday. I read through the posts by some members here who did the install and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. The build quality seems to be made to last, however I don’t plan on using automatic car washes as some of those dryers are like little tornadoes.
They haven’t been adjusted yet but seem to be pretty spot on when centered in the cutouts. At any rate, I am happy with how they look as they are more sporty than aggressive. Thanks Mabett for yet another winning product!

So is the light bar taped on the roof or screwed in?

The light bar use makes use of double-sided mounting tape. The top cover attaches to the base with two bolts and tape the length of the leading edge. No drilling! I have driven at 80+ moh and taken it through an automatic car wash. So far, we’re good.
One small correction to this. It's four bolts.

Although I have reservations of taking it through a car wash, I lean towards the confident side that it will be fine. I have seen some of damage that those blowers can do, which scares me. Glad to see that it's been done successfully.

Very nice! It is always cool to see what people do aftermarket with their Mavericks!

I would give them 3 months before you have moisture collecting inside the lights just like their side marker lights did.

These loo great on the Mav. From where does the bar draw power. And, how's the wind noise?

I've been browsing through the posts here and I haven't seen anything on getting power to the lights. I like the look of the bar and as you mentioned, install (at least attachment) is fairly easy, but how to you get power to it and where's the on/off switch?

My Maverick is a hybrid. There are 12V + and - connections under the hood in the engine compartment. There is a pass through point at the driver’s side footwell of the firewall to bring wiring into the cabin for a hard switch if desired. Mabett provides a remote control switch if not. For the negative connection you can use any bare metal point under the hood. For the +, locate the red covered terminal used to jump start your hybrid when necessary. If you don’t know where that is refer to your owners manual. Next to it is a similar terminal but with a black covered connection.. That is where you go to wire your 12V power wire.

For my install, I simply ran the wires down the windshield A pillar, into the engine bay, and to the jump terminals. I operate them with a remote control fob.

It's pretty slick.
