very interesting, I do agree with those who applauded the video, good job there !
I'm curious would this be legal in every state ?
any way of securing the back side with complete 2 sided tape to keep the rain out ?
any chance they could come in matching body color?
DO you guys make something like this for the rear of truck ?

It looks like water will collect behind the light and in the top screw holes. Are there drains that just don't show up in the video? (Nice video by the way). Is there much wind noise or vibration at highway speeds?

It would be nice if the light had a flat finish to match the rest of the truck's black parts, can it be painted? I ask because some plastics don't hold paint.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wireless on/off and the way the wires routed down the side of the windshield, no holes. Pretty sweet.

As others have noted, it would be even more useful if the lights could adjust up/down and side-to-side.

Thanks for your innovations on behalf of the Maverick community.
There are about 5 drain holes in the front. They do adjust up/down. I like the gloss finish as it matches my glossy side mirrors and the bap headlight area. I'm not sure if it's paintable.

I can see clearly now...with help from Mabett's roof lights. I installed these for one main purpose. Ok, maybe two. Looks and to help aid in spotting deer ahead of me. They seem to always want to get a closer look at the Tonka. My commute home is a 20-minute drive entirely on dark back roads. I hardly ever see anyone else. So, while it's illegal in my state, ask me if I care. I'll let the picture do the talking. I've included a picture of how I hooked it up in my hybrid with ease, as the installation video is geared towards an Ecoboost. If you're wondering if it's moonroof compatible, yes, yes it is. The installation was quite easy. Watch the video and ask a buddy to help. I cheated, though, and used my Nerf bars to stand on and then set it in place while popping out of the moonroof from inside. This is the point where you would want some help if you're not sporting a moonroof. The only issue i had was tucking in the top 4 inches of wire on the windshield, but eventually, it went in enough that I'm satisfied. I did use a heating gun on the 3m tape to increase the bond.

Loving the Tonka, looks awesome. The lights are the perfect addition! Can I ask what roll cage you have on the back (not sure what the technical term for that style of bed rails is)?

Thanks. I do love my kids, my dog and my truck... not necessarily in that order. Their called sports bars from @keko.

That ought to reduce your gas mileage by a significant amount! Looks cheesy. Probably get ripped off in a car wash. Light output looks terrible and being up high will just blind other drivers (people are dumb enough to use on the road). There’s a million better quality roof top light bars out there that are more aerodynamic and put out staggering amounts of light. Don’t reinvent the wheel folks. How about some actual fog beam lights that fit in the lower grill area? Ya there’s tons of flood/work light pods but most won’t fit nicely into the grill. I’m looking for an actual fog beam light that would fit.

Mabett After Dark. My earlier post regarding @MABETT 'S Roof Light stated my main reasons for installing them...deer. I've been out-n-bout and wanted to share my night time photo shoot with yinz. (iykyk)

good video - nice product - but with that angle off the windshield having constant uplift and driven water and salt while driving, a few 1/8" STRIPS OF 3M tape aren't going to last very long and this thing will be a projectile

at minimum epoxy it down if you get this
I would consider using the 3M tape as a proof-of-concept, then drilling and bolting it on once you know you like it and want to keep it. Even if you epoxy it on, you're now relying on the adhesion of the paint to the body, and the paint can just as easily rip off.

I was a vehicle upfitter for a bit so maybe I'm a bit jaded, but I have no aversion to drilling holes in vehicles. Heck, even small things like OEM cab lights are bolted on and not stuck on with double-sided tape for a reason.

I'm curious would this be legal in every state ?
Absolutely not. But eh, as long as you exercise reasonable judgement and don't drive on a busy Interstate with it turned on, the cops have bigger fish to fry.

I agree. I prefer light (output) over lights. I installed one pair of Rigid Industries D2 driving lights, and that little pair of 3x3 cubes outputs more usable light than a lot of Amazon no-name 10/20/30" light bars that my friends run. I can see until the horizon line, from the ground all the way to the tree tops.
