Stretched wheelbase Highlander, with the emphasis on larger rear cargo with the third row seats up compared to the current, standard Highlander. Slots between the standard Highlander and Sequoia. And because I'm bored:
What is a Grand Highlander? Will it have woodgrain sides?
Sorry 2027 order banks were only open for two unspecified 13 minute periods between 8:30 and 11:30 am the tuesday before last. Contact your dealer for further updates. So you're saying it's time to get an order in with our dealers now?
No.Isn't the Mach-E basically an electric Escape already?
It was a joke. Obviously, the Mach-E is a sleeker Electric Escape.

Not true grasshopper; redesign/refresh normally happens in year 3, no model 6 years. BMW was redesigned for 3 years, new model year 5. OF course, each manufacturer is slightly different, but most follow a shorter new model schedule. You mean 2027. Seems like the next gen Maverick. Most vehicles usually have a six year lifespan before redesign or major refresh.
The name Maverick Lighting has been trademarked, so you will see a BEV Maverick, not before MY2024, I say MY2025, I predict a PHEV Maverick for MY 2024.What isn't listed: Maverick BEV. They have Explorer BEV, Bronco BEV, and Ranger BEV, but not Maverick. Seems to indicate Ford isn't aiming to make a full electric Maverick. So 2033 would be the earliest?
I think Tim said it was trademarked in Europe only; not the US. But the EU is going full EV in like 2030. So, it is a bit of a necessity. Doesn't mean it happens here. The name Maverick Lighting has been trademarked, so you will see a BEV Maverick, not before MY2024, I say MY2025, I predict a PHEV Maverick for MY 2024.
We will be almost all EV by 2035 in the new car market with California and 17 states making the 100% zero-emissions pact. The manufacturers will design to the toughest test for all.I think Tim said it was trademarked in Europe only; not the US. But the EU is going full EV in like 2030. So, it is a bit of a necessity. My gut tells me that gets punted. Our grid can't handle that right now and I don't think that changes in 12 years. We will be almost all EV by 2035 in the new car market with California and 17 states making the 100% zero-emissions pact. The manufacturers will design to the toughest test for all.
I think it will, Tim hasn't always been right. If the EU goes elec we won't be far behind, the EU has far older cities then the US. After spending 2 weeks in Spain, we have a better elec car inferstructer then Spain.I think Tim said it was trademarked in Europe only; not the US. But the EU is going full EV in like 2030. Thus is its highly likely the next generation Maverick will at the very least offer an EV variant, and definitely PHEV with a minimum 50 mile range if they want to sell them in any of these states.
I can if the politics are taken out of Solar. My gut tells me that gets punted. Our grid can't handle that right now and I don't think that changes in 12 years.
