Finally swapped out my all seasons for Michelin Ice-X tires today. Picked up some Maverick steel wheels on market place earlier this year. Was worried I'd have to reprogram the tpms but the truck recognized them on the test drive after mounting them. Now, all we need is some snow.

Bitchin'!!! Same here. I treated each wheel with chemical guys wheel guard. Sure beats a $650 powder coat. Softer handing takes some getting used to. I take it easy in the curves on my ice x's. I want them to last.

I had the same winter tires with my last car. They're great. They handle incredibly well in the snow and I ran them for 4 winters.

Had the dealer take the black out wheels off (saving them till Spring) last week when I picked it up and put on my spare Bronco Sport Outer Banks wheels with my 235/18 Falken Wildpeaks. I run the Wildpeaks all year round.

I got these Bridgestone WS90 and wheels from Tire Rack this week. They even included the adapter from the original lug size to their lugs. I drove on some slushy snow and couldn’t break the tires free. I do a lot of driving for work and this with AWD should get me to customers reliably all winter.

I've driven in mid-Michigan for over 35 years. I've never gotten snow tires, just kept the all-season radials. That goes for RWD, FWD, AWD and 4WD that I have owned over the years.
Same thing in Kansas! If it is that bad outside then I don’t drive!

Are those AT Trail or AT3W? was thinking about those or the Crossclimate 2 since I am mostly on the road but there is very mixed 4 seasons in Colorado Springs.

Does anyone know what to do if you have a flat with 4 directional tires and only a non-directional full size spare? Michelin told me I had to tow it if that happens which I'd rather fix it myself.

I think that is BS!

They are 235/60R18 Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails. Good and quiet on the road and good traction off road.

For the 235/60R18, those are XL 107H? 34.2 pounds compared to a 225/65R17 SL 102H @ 30lbs, how does the truck handle the weight? Does it highly affect the mpg?

They are 107H. I'm sure they affect MPG some and knocked off maybe 1 MPG on my Bronco Sport. Any wider tire will do that. Couldn't tell you on my Maverick as it came with 18"s, not 17", don't have enough miles on it yet, and the Bronco Sport wheels have been on it since I picked it up new. The original 225 18" XLT black out wheels/tires are sitting in my garage.
