I am a Nokian tire fan and have a Hybrid XL. How is the road noise with your tires and, like most, I am wondering if you took any significant hit on MPG's?

I installed them on day 1 but my buddy has a Mav on stock tires and he can't tell the difference when he is in my truck. We both get the same MPG...37.5 in hilly Northeast PA with lots of highway driving at 75 MPH.

Today I picked up my new winter rims & tires, I really like the stock XLT rims so I tried to go with something that looked close to stock.
I’ve had my truck for almost two weeks and love it so far.

I went with the Michelin Cross Climate 2, four season tire.

I have the BAP, which is a painted rim, hope they stand up to salt. Sick of changing and storing off season tires.

Just had Yokohama Ice Guard mounted on 2017 Ford Escape Titanium wheels and installed on my 2023 Mav hybrid lariat. The wheel in the pic is the lariat. Only issue is the tpms warning light is on. Service tech said I need to replace sensors in the wheels for $500, I will live with it for the winter. Surprised how quite the tires are, almost no difference between the factory Michelin's and these.

I got a set of 4 tpms on ebay for about 22 bucks and they work perfectly.
Any 315MHz sensor will work. The Maverick learned the new sensors all by itself. No programming needed.

A local tire shop should be able to install them for less than $50.

ALways remember to install your center caps correctly. Valve stem at the bottom equals right side up.

Protection: Always use protection

Rating: I don't love the tires, they make the truck feel floaty and squishy. Feels like the Gas motor is running more now to push the tires. Truck feels slow. Rolling resistance is probably much higher than the stock summer tires. Hopefully they perform better the colder it gets. It's only just got down to 7C. I know they will claw through snow better than the stock tires.

Thanks for sharing that with us! Surprised how "expensive" the Steel Wheels were. I can get entry level Aluminum Rims for that price when they're on sale. I was hoping (but lost faith) to find New Steel Wheels for under $100. I guess if I had the time and patience, I might be able to go to an Auto Scrap yard and find 4 Rims (Steel or aluminum) for about $30 Each, but then the quality and mounted tire condition is a bit of a risk / mystery....

You did get a GREAT PRICE on the Tires & Pressure Sensors!

Just check market place in this forum. If you are patient you should be able to get a set of steel take offs for $200. I just posted I was looking for steelies in wheels and tires for sale and made a deal in about a week.

Finally swapped out my all seasons for Michelin Ice-X tires today. Picked up some Maverick steel wheels on market place earlier this year. Was worried I'd have to reprogram the tpms but the truck recognized them on the test drive after mounting them. Now, all we need is some snow.
