Hi,

I just got a great deal on new tires for my '23 XLT Hybrid.
I'll be taking off my stock Continental 225/65R17 for Nokian 235/55R19.
Of course, this means new rims!

According to my research, the new rims should have these specs (aside from size and TMPS sensors) :
Bolt Pattern : 5x108
Hub Bore : 63,4 mm
Offset : +42 (+38 to +45)

So, currently looking at Replika R241, Fast Wheels FC04, and ART Replica 129.

Can anyone confirm these specs? Will new lug nuts be required?
Are there other wheels (in Canada) I should be considering?

Cheers

For the lug nuts, you need to check with the wheel manufacturer. OEM lug nuts are "cone", aftermarket wheels can't be cone or acorn, make sure you get the right ones to match

You could also look for 2025+ Lariat OEM rims

Looks like the 129 wheel has the wrong bolt pattern and the FC04 and R241 are 18" wheels not 19" needed for the tires you bought. Watching this thread as I'm looking for matte bronze wheels that fit my stock 225/55R19 tires that only have 4.5k miles.

Just make sure your tires are the same height with the rims as your stock so your speedometer stays the same and you will need hub rings with custom wheels.

The wheel specs you posted are correct. (it's 63.4 hub bore)

You do not need hub rings if you purchase wheels with the correct center bore that are hub centric (like Ford's factory wheels).

Lug nuts will depend on which wheels you purchase.

good luck.

On the Maverick, hub rings might assist a little bit with centering a wheel during installation, but I wouldn't bother. The lug nuts take over once tightened.

Ford and most all OEMs use hub centric wheels (for a reason).

The hubs (and hub centric wheels) don't assist "a little", they properly locate the wheel onto the hub.

The lug nuts provide the clamping force to attach and retain the wheel assembly.

It's my understanding that the center of the hub is meant to support the weight so the lugs/lugnuts do not. A brief online search didn't definitively answer this question for me before I ran out of patience. Regardless, even though I'm not one of these safety preachers who often post and I roll my eyes at, there is no way I'm going to with the lugs alone supporting the weight/force if the vehicle came with hubcentric wheels from the factory.

If you like the ART Replica 129 and can't get the specs you want/need, maybe look at the
Ford Edge ST wheels that others have installed.

Very similar style (IMO).

Thank you all for your feedback. I will proceed next fall with the acquisition of the new wheels as this is all for Summer 2027.

I'm a bit confused about how new tires "of course" means new rims, lol. Although, I'm often confused by the decisions made here so nothing out of the norm. Just change the f'ing tires and be on your way? If you need a winter set, get XL steel wheels.
