Looks great! I had that lift on my first Maverick. Hopefully you don't have the same issue with the CV axles that I had. It seams to be hit or miss with people. Hopefully someone comes out with upgraded CVs for people with lift kits!

Agreed! I also had the same lift. 3 axle replacements and I removed 1 inch from the front to correct some geometry. But nice truck!

@colinl - and I bet it still gets better highway MPG than a Tremor!

probably within 1-2 mpg either way, and that's a range where it will depend more on the driver, traffic, local terrain.

All things equal, driver, traffic, local terrain - it would still get better MPG than a Tremor.

OP is right here. :)

@MadMike714 what have you observed for highway mpg before with stock tires and now with the lift and wildpeak tires?

Honestly I rarely drive on highways. I work from home and live in a city where the highest speed limit is 35. So I know around here it isn't the best. I have yet to get on a highway since lifting.

Naw. I had the same set up as him except I had 245/65/R17s Baja Boss. I get the same gas mileage in my Tremor with the same tires.

If only that was the stock Tremor setup. Perfection!

Did the lift cause axle failure?

I wouldn't say the lift causes axle failure. I would say the amount of lift does. When you take a moment and stare at it long enough you can see, the geometry just isn't right.
