Greetings fellow members. I finally took possession of my hot pepper red Lariat AWD on Thursday 1/13. Ordered it back in August. Only have 250 miles so far but here are my initial impressions:
Love the color and overall fit and finish, including the interior which I like even more than I thought I would. The subwoofer on the B&O system is actually a 6x9, I found that curious.
Love the ride. I read a lot on both the Maverick and the Santa Cruz and many were saying the Santa Cruz rides better. I didn't notice a discernable difference between the two.
4 adults definitely fit comfortably inside, tested that last night.
Sport mode really wakes the engine up compared to normal mode.
Fuel economy seems like it's going to be around 22 to 23 mpg combined highway and city. That's pretty good considering it's not the most aerodynamic vehicle.
I optioned my truck with everything except no FX4 and no First Edition. I love the features and I'm glad I didn't go cheap and skip some of them.
Only complaints so far are I have big hands and the steering wheel could be thicker and the front portion of the seat doesn't go up or down, just the rear portion. Makes me have to sit up straighter than I like but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'll post some better pictures soon as I take some.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm at about one month and 1,100 miles. I like almost everything. I know I'm being peckish, but I would like my android phone not to be muted when not connected via android auto. I would like the radio and use navigation on the phone with nav audio on the phone.

In the text box, it's on the top right corner. There's a smiley face, a video camera, and then the picture. Click that and a box pops open, click the box and it'll let you pick a photo from your phone.

Good afternoon. Just posting an update now that we've had the truck for almost a month and have driven him (my wife named him Rick) 1400 miles. We are very happy with the Maverick. The ride feels even nicer now that we've been driving it. We have had two occasions where we had adults in the back seat and both times they stated the room was more than adequate and they felt comfortable sitting there. Our average fuel economy is right around 23mpg but that's almost entirely around town driving with very little highway cruising. Very pleased with the factory tri-fold hard bed cover. It keeps rain water out and only got somewhat wet when I washed it at a self-serve was with a high pressure wand. Added the tailgate assist piston and it works great, should've come with the truck at the Lariat level. Next upgrade will probably be wider tires as the 225s look narrow on it. I have included some pictures just taken on 2/20/22.

Beautiful truck! Very tastefully done, love the wheels and the tonneau cover. I have another vehicle in the same cyber orange color I get compliments on it all the time so get used to people going crazy over your truck! Congratulations drive it and enjoy it I'm enjoying the hell out of mine and I'm consistently getting 33 MPG
