I ordered my XLT Maverick with the Luxury package over a year ago. I finally received my truck on Monday 9/25/23. When I looked over the truck I noticed the Hard drop in bed liner which is included in the Luxury Package was not there. I asked my sales associate about it and he talked to a "Manager" that said it is not included but it is very clearly on the Ford Price and Build webpage under the XLT luxury package option. Yesterday I emailed the dealer and pointed out the webpage reference, no response. Today I decided to call Ford customer relations. After being bounced back and forth between Customer service and Marketing ( 6 times) and disconnected once I was finally given a Case Number. Now I'm curious to see if I'll get any response. Maybe next I'll call the dealers ( Olathe Ford, Olathe Kansas) General Manager and point out the webpage to him. I just spent over $30K and I expect to get what I paid for.
Has anyone else had issues like this and was it resolved to your satisfaction?

Thanks
Pete

bed liner was removed from xlt lux package for 2023s. I know this very well, as my salesman reiterated it multiple times to make sure I didn't want to add one to my order. Nothing is wrong with your order.

edit to add: 22 xlt lux was spray-in, and 2024 is drop-in

For 2023, both the SIBL and DIBL bedliners and the floor-only liner were separate options for the XLT. For 2024 the DIBL is part of the base 300A package with no delete option. So if you want a SIBL on an XLT, you need to receive and then throw away the DIBL one. If you did not get one, then you got a 2023 without one of the bedliner options added. If you want the DIBL, just order it, as its a very nice unit. If you want the SIBL, go aftermarket, since the Ford one has some slipperiness and possible edge peel issues.

yup correct. the lux package was discounted because it did not include the bed liner or the rails. i’m just fine with that as i plan on getting a bedrug.

Everyone says it was removed from the XLT Luxury package but.... it was still on the 23 build page as late as last week and it shows up on the 24 build page. Ford advertised it, on the FORD corporate website, as being included so I want it.

Check carefully as you navigate..... The FORD website lets you Choose to BUILD the MY2023... but when you select that... You are on the MY2024 page... You aren't actually building a MY2023.... At least that is what happened when I tried it...

You have to make sure you select try another model.. and Select Previous Model Year... THen you get 2023 BUild... And this is what it shows under Luxury package for XLT:

The SIBL was definitely part of the 23 XLT with Luxury Package. That is what came with my truck. It was dropped for 24 and replaced with the DIBL.

The webpage says it now because it is included with the lux package now. Toward the end of 2022, it was taken off the lux package for 2023 models. I know because when I first ordered my 2022 model, the XLT lux came with the spray-in bed liner. Then it was changed to the drop-in bed liner, and after I was pushed to 2023, they told me they dropped it altogether. I used my ford points to pay for most the cost of the drop-in and put it in myself.

Go find the threads with the 2023 build sheets. They clearly dictate this, and you had to check those boxes when you ordered. You just weren't paying enough attention... You can stomp your feet all you want, but you're still wrong. If you want it, go buy it.

removing the bed liner is part of the reason why the luxury packages were cheaper in 2023 than 2022. They removed several items from both XLT and Lariat version and the bed liners were in both.

See page 4 of the 2023 brochure

it was not part of 23 XLT lux package. I have that and it did not come with SIBL consistent with 23 order guide.

I ordered my truck in 22 based on what was on the website. I don't see the dealers order site and no one told me it was not included until I went to pick up the truck.

It appears the DIBL was not standard for the ‘23. I would suggest finding the DIBL you want and ordering it through your dealer. You can use FordPass points to pay for part or all of it. If your dealer won’t order the Brand you want, call another dealer. That’s how I got the trifold Tonneau brand I wanted.
