There can't be any validity to this at least in the North American market. They would cannibalize sales of the Mav and Ranger. But maybe it'll be a 2 door fleet vehicle?

I think Motor Biscuit is one of the worst automotive websites out there.

Sometimes they rehash info from other authors/articles and add catchy titles, with little to no original content. Other times when their articles are original I think they just make controversial stuff up to attract viewers, and therefore increase clicks.

All in all, I just think they're a clipbait site that I avoid. YMMV

I think Ranchero would have been a better name than Maverick. I had a 68 with a 302 and my Dad had a 65 with a transplanted 271 hp 289 from a Mustang, it was really sweet
Still really enjoying my new little ute and have no regrets buying it.
